Hi, I’m Armaan - hands-on engineer and lifelong tinkerer.
I’m a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student at Johns Hopkins, where I spend most of my time designing, building, and testing things that move. Ever since I could hold a screwdriver, I’ve been taking things apart, fixing and figuring out how they work, and sometimes even putting them back together again.
Whether it’s drivetrain design for our Baja SAE off-road racecar or prototyping aircraft components, I thrive where rigorous engineering meets practical, hands-on work. I especially love working in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environments where I can collaborate with others, iterate quickly, and turn ambitious ideas into real hardware.
My passion lies in mechanical design for vehicles, from dusty Baja cars to high-performance sailboats to electric aircraft and beyond. When I’m not in the shop or spinning CAD, you’ll probably find me outside: hiking the White Mountains, whitewater canoeing, mountain biking, or sailing.
